Walking
If you are starting from the Malé City Center, head towards the central waterfront area known as the 'Republic Square.' From there, walk towards the main street, Majeedhee Magu, which is the primary shopping area. Continue walking down Majeedhee Magu until you reach the intersection with Boduthakurufaanu Magu. Turn left onto Boduthakurufaanu Magu and keep walking straight until you see the Islamic Centre on your right. Hukuru Masjid, also known as the Old Friday Mosque, is located adjacent to the Islamic Centre and is clearly marked. The mosque is known for its intricate coral stone carvings and beautiful architecture.

If you are near the Maldives Islamic Centre, you can easily reach Hukuru Masjid. Simply exit the Islamic Centre and turn left. Walk along the road, and you will see Hukuru Masjid a short distance ahead on your left. The mosque is a prominent landmark and cannot be missed.
