Addu City has a bus service operated by MTCC. The bus fare is MVR 15 to any bus stop throughout the islands. Check the MTCC website or use their hotline (1650) for the RTL bus schedule. Buses connect Maradhoo with other islands in Addu Atoll. Note that bus schedules may be infrequent.

Taxis are readily available in Addu City. A 5km ride in Addu City costs about MVR 150. You can hail a taxi on the street or use a ride-hailing app. Taxis within an island cost MVR 25 for one trip, but the rate differs when traveling between islands. A taxi from Gan International Airport to Hithadhoo is MVR 150.
