Walking
From within Gan Island, Equator Village is easily accessible on foot, given its proximity to Gan International Airport. Simply exit the airport and walk along the main road; the resort is a short distance away. The walk is generally flat and takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available at Gan International Airport. Upon arrival, you can find taxis waiting outside the terminal. A short taxi ride to Equator Village will cost approximately MVR 150. Ensure the driver uses the meter or negotiate the fare beforehand.
Public Transport
A bus service is available on Gan Island, though frequency can be low. From Gan International Airport, you can take a bus towards Hithadhoo and alight near Equator Village. The bus fare is MVR 15. Check the bus schedule in advance as it may not be readily available online.
