We booked the 5-day Fulidhoo island experience as a couple and honestly, it ended up being the highlight of our entire holiday in the Maldives. From the moment we were picked up in Malé, everything felt smooth and well-organized. The speedboat ride to Fulidhoo alone was already breathtaking — crystal clear water in every shade of blue you can imagine. Our guesthouse was simple but charming, right by the beach, and the staff made us feel like family. Every meal was fresh, local, and surprisingly delicious. Each day felt like a different adventure: We snorkeled over vibrant coral reefs, swam in lagoons that looked unreal, and experienced dolphin watching where we actually saw pods jumping right next to the boat. The sandbank day felt like something out of a dream — just the two of us on a tiny island surrounded by endless ocean. One of the most memorable moments was snorkeling with nurse sharks and rays. It was both thrilling and surprisingly peaceful with the guides making us feel completely safe. What we loved most was how balanced everything was — adventure, relaxation, and authentic island life all in one trip. It never felt rushed or touristy.
