Seaplane
The most common way to reach Aarah is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Heritance Aarah resort typically arranges these transfers. Upon arrival at the airport, a resort guide will escort you to the seaplane terminal. The scenic flight takes approximately 40 minutes. Seaplane transfers are mandatory and cost around USD 490 per adult and USD 245 per child (ages 2-6) for a round trip. Note that seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (06:00 to 16:00).
Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Airport (in Baa Atoll), followed by a speedboat transfer to Aarah. Manta Air operates regular flights to Dharavandhoo. The flight is about 20 minutes, followed by a 45-minute speedboat ride. Heritance Aarah representatives will guide you to the domestic flight check-in. Contact the resort for specific pricing and scheduling, as these can vary.
