Car
If you are traveling by car within Alifushi, head towards the main road that runs through the island. Follow signs for Maadu Beach, which is located on the eastern side of the island. The beach is easily accessible and you can park your car nearby. The ride should take approximately 10 minutes depending on your starting point.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, board a local bus heading towards the eastern part of Alifushi. Inform the driver that you are going to Maadu Beach. The fare is quite inexpensive, usually around 5-10 MVR. The bus will drop you off near the beach entrance, and from there it’s a short walk to the beach.
Walking
If you are close to Maadu Beach, simply walk there. The beach is located at the eastern edge of Alifushi, and the walk should take no more than 15-20 minutes from the center of the island. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and follow the signs pointing towards Maadu Beach.
