Seaplane
The most common and scenic way to reach Muravandhoo is via seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be greeted by JOALI representatives who will escort you to the private JOALI Lounge. From there, a 45-minute seaplane journey will take you directly to the island, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Maldivian atolls. Seaplane transfers are available during daylight hours only, typically between 6:00 am and 3:30 pm. A round trip seaplane transfer costs approximately $1350 per adult.

Domestic Flight and Speedboat
An alternative to the seaplane is a domestic flight to Ifuru Airport (IFU), followed by a speedboat transfer to Muravandhoo. The domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Ifuru Airport takes around 35 minutes, and the subsequent speedboat ride to Muravandhoo is approximately 15 minutes. After arriving at Ifuru Airport, a representative from JOALI Maldives will assist you with the speedboat transfer to the island. The cost for a domestic flight transfer can vary, but on average, expect to pay around $250-$400 per person one way. The speedboat transfer will likely be included in the overall transfer package arranged by the resort.
