    The most common and scenic way to reach Maalefushi is via a seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a resort representative who will escort you to the seaplane terminal. The seaplane journey to Maalefushi takes approximately 60 minutes, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Maldivian atolls. The roundtrip seaplane transfer costs approximately USD 750 per adult and USD 375 per child (ages 2-11). These costs are typically inclusive of taxes. Note that seaplane transfers usually operate during daylight hours, so arrivals after a certain time may require an overnight stay in Malé.
