    From the Maafushi ferry terminal, walk east along Boduthakurufaanu Magu. The Tsunami Monument is located in Thin Ruh Park on the southeastern coast of Malé. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    Take bus 402 or 403 and alight at the Majeediyya School bus stop. From there, walk a short distance east to Thin Ruh Park and the Tsunami Monument. Bus fares start from MVR 3.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Malé. A short taxi ride to the Tsunami Monument from most locations in the city will cost around MVR 20. Note that fares may increase after 11:00 PM.
