Ferry
To reach Tilladu Island, travelers typically arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE) near Malé. From there, take a local ferry or speedboat to your destination island. Local ferries are the most economical option, costing around $1-$4 per person, but they operate on a limited schedule and may require connections. Speedboats offer a faster and more direct route, with prices around $35 per person. Private speedboats can also be hired for around $150+. Ensure to check the ferry/speedboat schedules in advance. Special transport tickets/fares (for required ferries, cable cars, etc.) and any other mandatory access fees directly related to reaching the entrance. Omit if no costs.
Use Tilladu as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
