Walking
From the center of Thulusdhoo, head south towards the main road (Himmafushi Road). Continue walking straight until you reach the beach. Once at the beach, turn left and walk along the shoreline. Furaagandu is a small island located just off the coast and can be reached by swimming or taking a kayak if you have access to one. Keep an eye out for local fishermen who may offer to take you over by boat.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Thulusdhoo. From the rental shop, ride towards the main road (Himmafushi Road) and head south. Once you reach the beach, park your bicycle and walk along the shoreline to the left. Furaagandu is visible from the beach and can be reached by swimming or with a kayak. If you don’t want to swim, ask local fishermen if they can take you across in their boat.
Boat
If you prefer a boat ride to Furaagandu, head to the local dock in Thulusdhoo. Speak to the fishermen or local boat operators about a short trip to the island. They are usually very accommodating and can take you directly to Furaagandu for a small fee. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand.
