Walking
If you are in the central area of Bamako, start at the Monument de l'Indépendance, a well-known landmark. From there, head south on Avenue Moussa Tavele for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Avenue Moussa Tavele. Turn right onto Avenue Moussa Tavele and continue straight for about 800 meters until you see the large roundabout at the intersection with Avenue Moussa Tavele. Take the first exit onto Avenue Moussa Tavele and walk straight for about 600 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes on your way. Eventually, you will see the Musée de Bamako on your left.
