From the city center (e.g., Place de l'Indépendance), walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 2 heading towards 'ZOO NATIONAL DU MALI'. The bus will take you through several neighborhoods, providing a glimpse of local life. Get off at the stop closest to the zoo, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road. From there, follow the signs to the zoo entrance.

If you are in the vicinity of the National Museum of Mali, head east on Avenue Moussa Tavele. Continue straight for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rue 3. Turn left onto Rue 3, and after about 15 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to ZOO NATIONAL DU MALI on your right.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Head towards Avenue Moussa Tavele and cycle east for about 3 kilometers. After reaching the intersection with Rue 3, turn left and continue for another 1.5 kilometers. The zoo entrance will be on your right. This route is relatively flat and offers a nice ride through Bamako.
