    From Kayes, drive northwest on Route N27 towards Kati. After approximately 80 km, you'll find the junction leading to Gouina Falls. Turn left onto the dirt road and follow it for about 15 km. Drive cautiously as the road can be bumpy. Continue until you see signs for Gouina Falls. Parking is available near the falls.

    Take a shared taxi-brousse from Kayes to the town of Siby. These depart from the main taxi station in Kayes and cost around 2000-3000 CFA francs. From Siby, hire a motorcycle taxi ('Jakarta') to Gouina Falls, which is about a 30-minute ride costing around 5000 CFA francs. Clearly communicate your destination to the driver.
