Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Timbuktu, which is often marked by the main square. Head southwest on Avenue Moussa Tavele towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Avenue de la Libération. Take a left onto Avenue de la Libération and drive for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see a sign for Site Sidi Naji. Follow this road for another 500 meters, and you will arrive at the site, located at QX8W+JXP.
Public Transportation
To reach Site Sidi Naji by public transportation, locate the nearest bus or shared taxi station in Timbuktu. Board a bus or shared taxi heading towards the outskirts of the city, specifically towards the direction of Avenue de la Libération. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to stop at Site Sidi Naji. The fare should be around 300-500 CFA francs. Once you reach the designated stop, walk about 500 meters towards the location indicated by the sign for Site Sidi Naji, which is situated at QX8W+JXP.
Walking
If you are within walking distance from the center of Timbuktu, you can reach Site Sidi Naji on foot. From the main square, walk southwest along Avenue Moussa Tavele. Continue onto Avenue de la Libération after about 2 kilometers and then follow the road signs for Site Sidi Naji, which will be about 500 meters ahead. Ensure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes as the walk can be long under the sun.
