    From Birgu, head southeast towards the seafront promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Triq il-Livorn. Turn left onto Triq il-Livorn and follow the road as it curves. Keep walking straight, and you will see signs for Kalkara. Follow these signs, and after approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Fort Rinella, located in Kalkara.

    From Birgu, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq San Duminku. Take bus number 81 towards Valletta. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Kalkara.' From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Fort Rinella, which is well-signposted.
