Walking
Starting from the center of Birgu, head towards the waterfront promenade along the Grand Harbour. Walk along 'Triq il-Lanca' which will lead you directly to the water's edge. Continue along the promenade until you reach the intersection with 'Ix-Xatt'. Turn right onto 'Ix-Xatt' and follow the road as it curves around the coast. The Kalkara view point is located at number 15 Ix-Xatt, a short distance from the promenade. Look for the signs indicating the viewpoint which offers panoramic views of the harbour and Kalkara.

If you are near the Inquisitor's Palace in Birgu, exit the palace and head towards 'Triq San Lawrenz'. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Turn left onto the promenade and follow the path until you reach the intersection with 'Ix-Xatt'. Turn right and proceed to number 15 Ix-Xatt to reach the Kalkara view point.
