Starting from the center of Birgu, head towards the waterfront promenade along the Grand Harbour. Walk along 'Triq il-Lanca' which will lead you directly to the water's edge. Continue along the promenade until you reach the intersection with 'Ix-Xatt'. Turn right onto 'Ix-Xatt' and follow the road as it curves around the coast. The Kalkara view point is located at number 15 Ix-Xatt, a short distance from the promenade. Look for the signs indicating the viewpoint which offers panoramic views of the harbour and Kalkara.
