Walking
Start at the center of Birgu, near the Inquisitor's Palace. Head southeast on Triq Sant' Anna. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront area. You’ll see the beautiful views of the Grand Harbour. From there, turn left onto Triq Il-Batterija and follow the coast. Keep walking until you reach the end of the promenade where you can see the fishing village of Marsaxlokk in the distance. It's approximately a 40-minute walk along the scenic coastal path.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Birgu, walk to the nearest bus stop which is located on Triq Il-Luzzu. Catch the bus number 81 or 85 towards Marsaxlokk. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Marsaxlokk, disembark at the main square. From there, you can explore the village and the harbor area, famous for its colorful fishing boats.
