Getting There

Walking
Start from the main square of Birgu, known as 'Pjazza San Lawrenz'. Head east towards 'Triq Il-Kottonera'. Continue walking straight along the street. You'll pass by various local shops and cafes. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will see the Notre Dame Gate on your left side. The gate is situated at the intersection with a small plaza where you can take photos.

If you are near the Inquisitor's Palace, walk south along 'Triq Il-Palazz' until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto 'Triq Il-Kottonera', and continue walking for about 3 minutes. Notre Dame Gate will be on your right side, just before you reach the main road.

From the waterfront area of Birgu, walk towards the center of town. Head towards 'Triq Il-Kottonera' by following the signs that direct you to the historical sites. The walk will take about 10 minutes. Notre Dame Gate will be straight ahead at the end of the street, before you reach the main junction.
