Getting There

    From the main square in Birgu, head towards the waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. At the terminal, you will find signs for the Valletta ferry. Take the ferry across the Grand Harbour to Valletta. Once you disembark, walk straight along the main road (Triq Ir-Repubblika) until you reach the Upper Barracca Gardens. From there, continue to walk towards the city centre, where you will see signs directing you to St. John's Co-Cathedral. It is located on Triq San Gwann, just a short walk from the gardens.

    From Birgu, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the waterfront. Take bus number 2 or number 3 towards Valletta. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit the bus and walk straight onto Triq Ir-Repubblika. Continue walking towards the Upper Barracca Gardens. After visiting the gardens, head down to the main street and follow the signs to St. John's Co-Cathedral located on Triq San Gwann.
