Walking
From the center of Birgu, head towards the waterfront promenade known as 'Il-Wied' and walk south along the coast. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade where it intersects with Triq Sant' Anna. Turn left on Triq Sant' Anna and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Triq Sant' Orsla. Turn right onto Triq Sant' Orsla, and continue walking for a few minutes. The Upper Barrakka will be on your right at number 292.
Walking
If you are starting from the Birgu Waterfront, head east towards the Birgu Main Square. From the square, take Triq San Lawrenz heading north. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn right onto Triq Sant' Orsla. Walk along this road for about 10 minutes, and the Upper Barrakka will be on your left.
Public Transport
From Birgu, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main square of Birgu. Take a bus towards Valletta (check for bus numbers such as 81, 82, or 133). Once you arrive in Valletta, get off at 'City Gate' stop. From there, walk towards Triq Sant' Orsla, and you will find Upper Barrakka at number 292 shortly after walking along the street.
