Walking

If you are staying in Bugibba, the jetty is easily accessible on foot. Head towards the seafront along Dawret Il-Gzejjer. From the center of Bugibba, the walk should take no more than 10 minutes. Look for signs pointing towards the beach and waterfront areas.
Public Transport

From St Paul's Bay, you can take the line 222 bus to Bugibba. The bus ride is approximately 3 minutes and costs €3. The bus departs every 15 minutes from the Tonn bus stop in St Paul's Bay and arrives at the Imhasel bus stop in Bugibba, which is a short walk from the jetty. Alternatively, several bus routes connect Valletta to Bugibba, including routes 31, 45, 48, and TD13. From Sliema, you can take bus 212 or TD13 to Bugibba.

The jetty itself is lined with cafes and shops, offering refreshments and souvenirs.In July 2025, a new breakwater and ferry terminal were inaugurated at Bugibba Jetty, enhancing its infrastructure and providing better protection for moored vessels. The 180-meter breakwater reduces wave impact, ensuring safer conditions for fishing boats and small vessels. The addition of a 36-meter branch offers further shelter during inclement weather, while the new terminal provides sheltered waiting areas for passengers.
