Getting There

Bus
From Bugibba, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (Triq il-Lunzjata). Look for bus number 41 or 42, which heads towards Victoria. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Rabat (Victoria) bus terminal'. From there, transfer to bus number 322 heading towards Xaghra. This will take another 20 minutes. Once you reach Xaghra, disembark at the 'Xaghra' bus stop. From there, Xerri's Grotto is just a 10-minute walk. Head south on Triq il-Kbira, then turn left onto Triq Xerri. Continue walking straight until you see Xerri's Grotto.

If you prefer to explore on foot, start from the central area of Bugibba and head towards the coastline. Walk along the promenade towards Qawra Point. Continue walking until you reach the bus terminal at Bugibba. From there, follow the bus instructions above. Alternatively, you can walk to the ferry terminal at Cirkewwa (about 1.5 hours) and take a ferry to Gozo, followed by a local bus to Xaghra.
