Walking
Tal-Petut is located in a narrow alley behind the Inquisitor's Palace in Birgu. From Birgu's main square, Pjazza tal-Knisja, walk south towards the Malta at War Museum. Turn left onto Triq il-Kwartieri, then take the first right onto Triq Pacifiku Scicluna. The restaurant is a short distance down the street on the left. Look for the traditional Maltese signage.
Public Transport
From Valletta, take bus number 2, 3, or 4 to Birgu. Get off at the bus stop 'Riche' or 'Fortini', which are the closest to the Birgu center. From the bus stop, walk towards the Birgu Waterfront and follow the directions as described for walking. A single bus ticket costs €2.50 and is valid for two hours.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Malta, including at the Malta International Airport and in Valletta. A taxi from Valletta to Birgu will cost approximately €20-€30, depending on traffic and the taxi company. From the taxi stand in Birgu, walk towards the Birgu Waterfront and follow the directions as described for walking.
