Tour was good! Lots of info. The app is slightly clunky when two of the numbered spots are close together. Keep in mind that the guide talks about quiet and empty streets. But with at least two cruises in town the streets were anything but. Still worth the money and time to use this highly informational walking tour.

I always do the hop on hop off bus tours in cities where there is one available. The one in Valletta has two routes - the blue and the. Red. The tour bus covered many areas and I was able to see a lot but the frequency of the pick up was for example once every hour for the blue route. The bus also finishes earlier than some of the hop on hop off buses I have taken.

We had a truly amazing experience! They sent us a clean and nice SUV with, of course, a private driver. We were offered routes to the destinations and asked if we liked them or had personal suggestions based on online research. We adjusted it a bit to drive around, and it was a nice addition to see the surrounding area and get a sense of how different some parts are in the central part of the island. Our tour guide, Pier, constantly told us stories about the country and its history and easily answered all the random questions we threw at him while driving. In overall nice experience, and Malta is surprisingly vibrant for its size.
