    Palazzo Falson, also known as the Norman House, is a historic house museum in Mdina, Malta, offering a glimpse into the lives of Maltese nobility through the ages. Built in the 13th century, possibly incorporating parts of an even older structure, it stands as the second-oldest building in Mdina.The palazzo's history is rich and varied. It was initially a single-story courtyard house, later expanded and modified with architectural styles from different eras. The Falson family, prominent in Mdina since the 13th century, owned the house for many years. In 1927, Captain Olof Frederick Gollcher, a collector and philanthropist, acquired the palazzo, restored it, and filled it with his vast collection of art, antiques, and books.Today, Palazzo Falson is a museum showcasing Gollcher's collections, including paintings, furniture, silverware, weaponry, and a library of over 4,500 books. Visitors can explore seventeen rooms filled with historical domestic belongings and learn about the palazzo's history through audio guides and exhibits. The rooftop Gustav Café offers panoramic views of Mdina.
