Discover more about The Cliffs

The Cliffs Interpretation Centre is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience that intertwines the natural, historical, and culinary aspects of Dingli, Malta. Situated on the edge of the Dingli Cliffs, the highest point in Malta, the center provides panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the islet of Filfla. The center is located within the original historical TACAN building, constructed in the 1960s by the British Royal Air Force. After the British departure, the building fell into disrepair until the La Pinta Ltd. revitalized it. La Pinta Ltd, a local company with roots in Dingli's traditions, manages the center. Their history dates back five generations to the late 1800s with the presence of the village bakery in the centre of Dingli. Since 2011, The Cliffs Interpretation Centre has been dedicated to offering an informative visitor experience that highlights the environmental, historical, and gastronomical potential along Dingli Cliffs, with the input of authentic local personnel. The center focuses on distributing knowledge on natural heritage through interactive means of communication to stimulate understanding and raise awareness. The Cliffs also aims to revive past traditions. The menu emphasizes seasonal flora and local produce, some of which comes directly from their own miniature kitchen garden. Beyond the center itself, the surrounding area offers much to explore. The Dingli Cliffs provide walking paths with stunning views. Nearby, the St. Mary Magdalene Chapel, dating back to 1646, offers picturesque photo opportunities.
