If you are driving, head towards the Dwejra Area on the island of Gozo. From Dwejra Bay, take the road leading towards Munxar. Follow the signs towards Munxar, and after approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at Grotta in Munxar. Park your car in a safe location near the road. Tortoise Rock is located a short walk from the parking area; follow the path that leads towards the coast and look for the distinct rock formation.

Public Transportation
To reach Tortoise Rock using public transport, take the Gozo bus service from Victoria (Rabat) to Munxar. You will need to catch bus number 302 or 303. The journey will take around 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Munxar stop, exit the bus and walk towards Grotta. It is a short walk down the road, and Tortoise Rock is visible from the coast path. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips to ensure you have a safe journey back.

If you are already in the Dwejra Area and would like to walk to Tortoise Rock, you can take a scenic route. Start by walking towards Dwejra Bay, then follow the coastal path that leads to Munxar. It is approximately a 30-40 minute walk along the coast, offering beautiful views of the sea and surrounding cliffs. As you approach Munxar, keep an eye out for Tortoise Rock, which is situated near the water's edge.
