Ħalfa Rock, or Il-Ġebla tal-Ħalfa in Maltese, is a captivating islet located off the southeastern coast of Gozo, part of the Maltese archipelago. This vow was fulfilled in 1551 when Dragut attacked Gozo and enslaved much of its population.Today, Ħalfa Rock is a protected area, home to a unique maritime garrigue environment. It features endemic Maltese plants like the Maltese Sea-Lavender and the Maltese Pyramidal Orchid. The islet also hosts an isolated population of the endemic Wall Lizard and a unique morph of the Door Snail.
