Ferry
The most common way to reach the Blue Lagoon is by ferry from Ċirkewwa or Marfa on Malta. From Valletta, take bus 41 or 42 to Ċirkewwa. From Sliema, bus 222 will take you to Ċirkewwa. From Bugibba, Qawra, or Xemxija, take bus 221. Ferry tickets cost approximately €15 for a round trip. Alternatively, ferries depart from Mġarr Harbour in Gozo, costing around €10-€15 round trip. Check the Comino Ferries website for schedules. From May 1st, 2025, pre-booking your visit to the Blue Lagoon is required.
Boat Tour
Numerous boat tours to the Blue Lagoon depart from Sliema, St. Julian's, and Bugibba. These tours often include visits to other attractions like the Crystal Lagoon and Comino's caves. Prices vary depending on the tour, but typically range from €25 to €70, sometimes including food and drinks. Some tours offer hotel pick-up for an additional charge. Be sure to confirm the departure point and inclusions when booking.
