Getting There

  • Bus

    From Mgarr Harbour, take bus 303 towards Victoria. Get off at the Kuncizzjoni stop, located just past Qala village. From there, walk down Triq Il-Kuncizzjoni for about 15-20 minutes to reach Hondoq Bay. A single bus ticket costs around €2.

  • Car

    From Victoria, head south on Triq Sant'Antnin towards Triq Il-Knisja. Continue onto Triq Il-Wileg and then onto Triq Il-Munxar. Follow the road until the junction with Triq Hondoq ir-Rummien. Turn left onto Triq Hondoq ir-Rummien and follow it to the parking area near the bay. Parking is available near the beach. Parking charges may apply during peak season.

  • Walking

    From Mgarr Harbour, walk along Triq Martino Garces, heading east around the harbor. Continue as the road turns into a coastal path. Follow the path with the sea on your right until you reach Hondoq Bay. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Note that a direct route exists via an unmaintained footpath, but it is not recommended for inexperienced hikers or after heavy rain.
