From Gozo Citadel, head south on the main road (Triq Il-Kastell) towards Victoria. Follow the signs for the Xlendi direction. After approximately 3 km, take the exit toward Munxar (Triq Il-Munxar). Continue on this road for about 1 km until you reach the entrance of the Heritage trail Munxar to Xlendi, located at 26HC+8C Munxar. Parking is available nearby, typically free of charge.

Public Transportation
From Gozo Citadel, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq Il-Kastell. Take the bus heading towards Xlendi (Bus Number 91 or 92). The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Munxar stop. From there, it’s a short walk (approximately 500 meters) to the Heritage trail Munxar to Xlendi, located at 26HC+8C Munxar. Bus tickets cost around €1.50 for a single journey.

If you prefer to walk, start at Gozo Citadel and head south towards Victoria. Continue walking towards Munxar, which is about 4 km away. This route takes approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Munxar, look for the Heritage trail entrance at 26HC+8C Munxar. Be prepared for some hills and ensure to wear comfortable footwear.
