Getting There

  • Walking

    From the village of Sannat, the cliffs are accessible by foot. Head towards the main square and look for Triq il-Knisja. Walk down this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the end, then turn left onto Triq San Blas. Continue for another 10 minutes, following the signs towards Ta' Ċenċ Cliffs. The walk from Sannat to the cliffs is approximately 1 km each way, taking about 15 minutes at a relaxed pace. Note that there are no facilities near the cliffs.

    To reach Ta' Ċenċ Cliffs using public transport, take a bus to Victoria, Gozo's capital. From the Victoria bus terminal, take bus 305 towards Sannat. Get off at the 'Cenc' bus stop in Sannat. From the bus stop, follow the road in the direction of Hotel Ta' Ċenċ & Spa. The road soon divides; take the left road. Cross the lot and follow signs to “Tennis,” “Mgarr Ix-Xini,” and “Beach”. A pedestrian path leads past the covered tennis court to Triq ta' Skerla road. The closest bus stop to the Ta' Ċenċ Cliffs is Cenc in Sannat. The bus fare is around €1.50 each way.
