    Walking

    From the centre of Gzira, head towards the waterfront promenade (Triq ix-Xatt). Walk along the promenade towards Sliema, enjoying the sea views on your left. Continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal at Sliema. From the ferry terminal, board a ferry to Valletta, which is a short and scenic ride across the harbor. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the main entrance of Valletta. Follow the signs towards the Upper Barracca Gardens. As you walk, you will pass through the beautiful streets of Valletta. When you reach the Upper Barracca Gardens, look for the Barrakka Lift, which is nearby and will take you down to the waterfront area.

    Public Transport

    From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop on Triq ix-Xatt. Take bus number 13 or 14, which will take you directly to Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit and head towards the Upper Barracca Gardens. Follow the signs, and as you approach the gardens, look for the Barrakka Lift, which is located nearby.
