Getting There

Walking
From Gzira, start by heading towards the seafront along the promenade. Walk towards Sliema, and you will see the signs for the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, you can take the ferry to Valletta. The ferry ride is about 10 minutes long. After arriving at Valletta, head towards the bus station which is located just outside the ferry terminal. From there, take bus number 81 or 82 towards Kalkara. The bus will take you on a scenic route. Get off at the 'Kalkara' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Dawret Fra Giovanni Bichi, and you will find Villa Bighi, home to the Esplora Interactive Science Centre.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Gzira, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located on the main road. Take bus number 13 or 14 towards Valletta. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the 'Valletta' stop. Once in Valletta, walk to the bus terminal and take bus number 81 or 82 towards Kalkara. This will take another 15-20 minutes. When you reach the 'Kalkara' bus stop, exit the bus and follow the signs to Dawret Fra Giovanni Bichi. Villa Bighi, where the Esplora Interactive Science Centre is located, will be a short walk from the bus stop.
