Public Bus
From Gzira, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (Triq ix-Xatt). Take bus number 62 or 63 towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for about 15 to 20 minutes until you reach the bus stop at the 'Kalkara' area. Once you disembark, Fort Rinella will be a short 10-minute walk away. Head southeast on Triq il-Kalkara towards the coast, then follow the signs to the fort.

If you prefer walking, start at the Gzira waterfront and head south along the promenade. Continue along the coast until you reach the area of Sliema. From there, you can take a ferry to Valletta (the ferry terminal is near the Gzira waterfront). Once in Valletta, take bus number 62 or 63 towards Kalkara. After getting off at the 'Kalkara' stop, walk southeast on Triq il-Kalkara for about 10 minutes to reach Fort Rinella.
