Walking
Start at the Gzira seafront near the bus stop at Triq it-Torri. Head towards the direction of Sliema, walking along the promenade. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade and cross over to the opposite side of the road at the intersection. Follow the signs for the ferry terminal and board the ferry towards Valletta. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, exit and walk towards the main entrance of Valletta. From there, take the bus towards Birgu. Get off at the stop near the entrance to Birgu. From the bus stop, walk towards Triq it-8 ta' Dicembru, and follow the signs to the Malta at War Museum located at Couvre Porte Counterguard.
Public Transport
From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the bus for Valletta. Once you arrive in Valletta, transfer to Bus 81 or 82 towards Birgu. After approximately 20-30 minutes, disembark at the Birgu stop. Exit the bus and walk down Triq it-8 ta' Dicembru towards the waterfront until you reach Couvre Porte Counterguard, where the Malta at War Museum is located.
