From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq IX-Xatt. Catch bus number 82 or 85 towards Valletta. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the 'Valletta' bus terminal. From there, transfer to bus number 3 or 4, heading towards Birgu. After about 20 minutes on the second bus, get off at the 'Birgu' stop. The Malta Maritime Museum is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head towards Xatt l-Assedju l-Kbir, and the museum will be on your left.

From Gzira, walk to the ferry terminal located at the end of Triq ix-Xatt. Take the ferry to Valletta, which departs frequently. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive in Valletta, proceed to the 'Valletta' bus terminal. From there, transfer to bus number 3 or 4 towards Birgu. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the 'Birgu' stop. The Malta Maritime Museum is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop; just head towards Xatt l-Assedju l-Kbir, and you will find the museum on your left.
