From there, continue straight along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the Valletta ferry which will take you directly across the harbour to Valletta. Once you disembark, walk straight towards the main street (Republic Street) and follow the signs towards the Upper Barracca Gardens. Continue past the gardens and follow the signs to Lascaris Ditch. The entrance to The Lascaris War Rooms will be on your left.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    Walk to the nearest bus stop (Bus Stop 'Gzira - D'Argens') located on Triq D'Argens. Take bus number 13, 14, or 16 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit the terminal and head towards the main street (Republic Street). Follow the signs to the Upper Barracca Gardens and continue walking towards Lascaris Ditch. The Lascaris War Rooms will be on your left.

    From Gzira, head to the waterfront where you can find water taxi services. Look for the water taxi that operates to Valletta. The ride across the harbour takes about 10 minutes. Upon arrival at Valletta, walk towards the main street (Republic Street) and follow the signs to the Upper Barracca Gardens. Continue walking past the gardens to reach Lascaris Ditch, where The Lascaris War Rooms are located on your left.
