From Hondoq Bay, get onto the main road (Triq Hondoq) and head northwest. Follow the signs towards Mgarr and Mellieha. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on the main road (Triq Il-Mellieha). Continue driving for about 5 km until you reach Mellieha. Once in Mellieha, follow the signs to Mellieha Bay. There are parking areas available near the beach, but be aware that there may be a parking fee during peak season.

From Hondoq Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the main road. Look for bus routes that head towards Mellieha. The bus number 41 or 42 regularly services this route. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Mellieha bus terminal, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Mellieha beach. Just follow the signs directing you towards the beach, and you will find yourself at the sandy shores in no time. A single bus ticket costs around €1.50.
