Getting There

• Car

  From Hondoq Bay, start by heading northwest on Triq il-Wilga towards Triq Hondoq. Continue straight on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to continue on Triq il-Wilga. After another 1 kilometer, merge onto the main road leading towards Lija. Follow the signs for Lija and continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers. Once you reach Lija, look for the signs directing you towards Belvedere Tower. Parking is available nearby, but may require a small fee depending on the area.

• Public Transportation

  From Hondoq Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the end of Triq il-Wilga. Catch the bus heading towards Valletta (Bus route X2 or 44). You will need to change buses in Valletta. From Valletta, take the bus to Lija (Bus route 41 or 42). Once you arrive in Lija, ask locals for directions to Belvedere Tower, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Public transport costs around €1.50 for a one-way ticket.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from Hondoq Bay and enjoy the scenic views, follow Triq il-Wilga northwest until you reach the main road. This is approximately a 2-kilometer walk. Once you hit the main road, continue towards Lija. This walk may take around 30-40 minutes, and it's advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. The route offers a mix of urban and natural scenery, but be mindful of traffic along the main road.
