Getting There

Walking
From the center of St. Julian's, head towards the coast and follow the signs towards Sliema. Walk along the promenade towards Balluta Bay. Continue along the promenade until you reach the end where you will see a bus stop. From there, take bus number 13 towards Valletta. Alight at the Valletta Terminus. Once you arrive at the terminus, head towards Republic Street and walk straight until you reach the City Gate. Continue through the gate and down the main street, eventually turning left onto Mediterranean Street. The National War Museum - Fort St Elmo will be on your right at St. Elmo Place.

From St. Julian's, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 13 or 14 from the stop towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Alight at the Valletta Terminus. After exiting the bus, follow signs to the City Gate, and walk through it. Continue straight down Republic Street, then turn left onto Mediterranean Street. The National War Museum - Fort St Elmo is located at St. Elmo Place on your right.
