Walking
The Lascaris War Rooms are located beneath the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta. From Castille Place, walk towards the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Enter the gardens and proceed to the Saluting Battery. The entrance to the War Rooms is accessed through a signposted passageway near the Saluting Battery. Follow the signs and descend into the underground complex. Admission is €20 for adults.

Public Transport
All buses to Valletta will bring you to the main bus terminus just outside the city gates. From the bus terminus, walk towards Castille Place and the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Alternatively, from the bus station (Saint James Ditch end) walk into Ganado Gardens. Both routes are well signposted. Bus tickets cost approximately €3. From there, follow the walking directions to the Lascaris War Rooms.

Taxis are readily available throughout Malta, including at the Malta International Airport and in major towns. A taxi from the airport to Valletta will cost approximately €20-30 and take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the taxi driver to take you to the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta. From there, follow the walking directions to the Lascaris War Rooms.
