Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the main square of Marsalforn, which is located near the seafront. From the square, head east along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end of the beach. Once you reach the end, you will see a path that leads up the hill. Follow this path, which will take you away from the water and towards the residential area. Keep walking straight until you reach a T-junction. At the junction, turn left onto Triq Il-Margħir. Follow this road as it curves around, and eventually you will reach a sign for Triq Ix-Xwejni. Turn right onto Triq Ix-Xwejni and continue walking. After a few minutes, keep an eye out for a small path on your left leading down towards the coast. This path will take you directly to Anchor Reef, located at 36JV+23J, Triq Ix-Xwejni, Iż-Żebbuġ.

  • Public Transport

    From Marsalforn, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the main square. Board bus route 41 towards Valletta. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop for Żebbuġ. Once you disembark, walk along Triq Il-Knisja until you reach Triq Ix-Xwejni. Turn left onto Triq Ix-Xwejni and continue walking straight. Look for a small path on your left which will lead you down to Anchor Reef. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the reef.
