Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the main square in Marsalforn, where the bus stop is located. From there, head east along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the sea views. After about 500 meters, you will reach a fork in the path. Take the left path that leads towards the cliffs. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach a small junction where you will see the sign for 'Triq Il-Wied'. Turn left onto Triq Il-Wied. You will notice a small trail leading downwards towards the valley. Follow this trail, which will take you through some local flora and offer beautiful views. After a short walk of around 300 meters, you will arrive at Marsalforn Valley.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Marsalforn. Head east along the main road towards Xagħra. Take Triq Il-Wied, which you will find to your left after approximately 800 meters. Ride along this road for about 1 kilometer, following the signs. Be cautious as the road may be narrow in some areas. You will eventually come across the entrance to Marsalforn Valley on your right-hand side. Park your bicycle at the designated area before entering the valley.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the main bus stop in Marsalforn, take the bus heading towards Xagħra. It is usually a short journey of about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Triq Il-Wied. After disembarking, walk along Triq Il-Wied, following the signs towards the valley. It’s a short walk of approximately 300 meters. You will see the entrance to Marsalforn Valley on your left. Please check the local bus schedule as timings may vary.
