Getting There

  • Walking

    From Marsamxett Harbour, head southeast towards the Triq ix-Xatt road. Walk along Triq ix-Xatt until you reach the Tigne Point area. Continue walking towards the Tigne Point shopping mall and follow signs for Sliema. You'll find a pedestrian bridge that connects you to Manoel Island. After crossing the bridge, continue straight to reach Fort Manoel, which is located on the island.

    Take Bus 13 or 14 from the nearest bus stop in Marsamxett Harbour. These buses head towards Gżira. Disembark at the 'Gżira' stop, which is a short walk from the entrance to the bridge leading to Manoel Island. After getting off the bus, walk towards the bridge, cross it, and follow the path to Fort Manoel.

    If you are driving, head towards the Gżira area from Marsamxett Harbour. Follow the signs to Valletta, and then take the exit towards Gżira.
