Getting There

  • Walking

    From Marsamxett Harbour, head towards the entrance of the Upper Barracca Gardens. Start by walking southeast along the waterfront promenade. You will pass several cafes and shops. Continue straight until you see the steps leading upwards towards the entrance of the gardens. The walk should take around 15 minutes.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the bus from Marsamxett Harbour to Valletta. Look for routes 133 or 134, which frequently run from the nearby bus stop. The fare is approximately €1.50 per person. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit the terminal and follow the signs towards the Upper Barracca Gardens, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head towards the main square, then look for the signs directing you to the gardens.
