If you are driving, start from any point in Marsamxett Harbour. Follow the signs towards Valletta. Take Triq Sant' Anna and turn left onto Triq il-Lanca. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Merkanti. This road will lead you towards the city entrance. Once you reach the city gate, follow Republic Street (Triq Repubblika) straight ahead. St. George's Square will be on your left. Note that parking in Valletta can be challenging, so be prepared to find a parking space at a nearby car park or street parking, if available. Parking fees may apply, typically around €1.50 per hour.

To reach St. George's Square via public transport, head to the nearest bus stop in Marsamxett Harbour. Look for buses heading towards Valletta; routes 12, 13, 14, and 16 are good options. The bus will take you directly to Valletta. Disembark at the Valletta Terminus. From there, walk along Triq Repubblika, which is the main street leading into the city. St. George's Square will be approximately a 10-minute walk straight ahead on your left. Remember to check the bus schedule and prepare some change for the fare, which is typically around €1.50 for a single journey.
