Walking
From the center of Marsaskala, head towards the seafront promenade and walk along the coast in the direction of the nearby village of Birgu. You will pass through picturesque streets and enjoy views of the sea. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade where you will find the main road. Turn right onto Triq San Tumas and follow the signs toward Birgu. The total distance is approximately 4 kilometers and should take about 50 minutes on foot.
Bus
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a public bus from Marsaskala to Valletta. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop, which is likely located at the Marsaskala Square. Take bus route 81 or 82, which will take you directly to Valletta. From Valletta, transfer to bus route 3 toward Birgu. Get off at the Birgu stop and walk towards the waterfront. The overall journey should take about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
