Walking
Start at the Marsaskala Bay promenade. Head east along the promenade, passing by various cafes and shops. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will see a sign for the coastal path leading to Il- Ponta ta Barut. Follow the coastal path, keeping the sea on your right side. The path will take you through some natural landscapes and provide beautiful views. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Il- Ponta ta Barut, which is marked by a small scenic area ideal for hiking and enjoying the sea views.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Marsaskala, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Knisja (Church Street). Take bus number 81 towards Valletta. After a short ride of about 10 minutes, get off at the bus stop 'Zabbar - St. Patrick's.' From here, you will need to walk back towards Marsaskala on the coastal road. Continue walking towards the coastline until you find the path leading to Il- Ponta ta Barut. This will take you approximately 20 minutes of walking along the coast.
